On August 26th, the list of the first batch of "major ideological and political education course" practice teaching bases in Qinghai Province was announced. The Xingtiying Teaqian Salt Lake Scenic Area was successfully included. This recognition marks a profound transformation of the scenic area's study tours from travel and practical experiences to ideological and political soul-casting.

As a provincial state-owned enterprise, the Xingtiying Teaqian Salt Lake Scenic Area has always regarded cultural exploration, inheritance and dissemination as the original aspiration and mission of its cultural tourism business, integrating cultural elements into the entire process of tourism. The scenic area regularly conducts cultural traceability, cultural relic collection and protection, and cultural activity creation, and has built a 4,714-square-meter museum. It has formed a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating cultural display, sightseeing, scientific and educational activities, and practical experiences, laying a solid foundation of hardware and culture for ideological and political practical teaching.

Since being recognized as a Qinghai Province primary and secondary school student study tour and practical education base in 2022, the scenic area has taken salt culture as the main line, integrated geological and ecological resources, thousand-year salt industry civilization and regional folk customs, divided age segments, focused on six comprehensive abilities, scientifically designed study tour courses, simultaneously improved supporting hardware facilities, established a safety emergency control system, and constructed a standardized study tour system with a mature curriculum system, distinctive cultural characteristics, standardized implementation processes and complete safety guarantees. After strict review and selection, it successfully entered the first batch of "major ideological and political education course" practice teaching bases in the province.
