I. Free Policy

Free period: December 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026

2. Free admission: The Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area implements a free admission policy. Tourists can enter the park by swiping their ID cards after making an appointment at the tourist hall with their valid ID cards. They can also make advance reservations for tickets through the official online channels.

3. Free parking: The parking lot of Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area is open to tourists for free.

Ii. Open Projects

1. Sightseeing electric vehicle: It offers a shuttle service between the Old Auditorium and Chaka Salt Station. The one-way ticket price is 5 yuan per person. Tourists can scan the code on the spot to purchase tickets.

2. Shoe Cover Rental: A service point is set up at Chaka Xia Station, providing shoe cover rental and return services. The rent is 10 yuan per pair, and the deposit is 50 yuan per pair (the deposit will be fully refunded after the shoe covers are returned in good condition).

3. Tourist Area: From the Tourist Service Center to Chaka Xia Station.

4. Restroom Services: Open restrooms No. 3, the Old Auditorium restrooms, the mobile restrooms at the Salt Sculpture Square, and the mobile restrooms at Chaka Xia Station.

Iii. Precautions

The daily operating hours in winter are from 8:15 to 17:30. Please plan your itinerary reasonably.

2. The winter temperature in Qinghai region is relatively low. It is recommended to carry warm and cold-proof clothes and take good precautions when going out.

3. Some areas within the scenic spot are temporarily closed. Please do not enter the enclosed areas without permission. Strictly abide by the safety management regulations of the scenic spot and visit in a civilized manner.

4. The track train, cruise ships, shops and other projects are temporarily closed. The reopening time will be notified separately through official channels.
