On August 11th, the launch ceremony of the 2026 "Cooling in Summer, Caring for Tour Guides" public welfare visitation activity was grandly held at the Sky Mirror Scenic Area of Tachak Salt Lake.

During the peak tourist season in Qinghai, Tachak Salt Lake is crowded with tourists. The vast majority of tour guides overcome the challenges of high-altitude hypoxia, intense ultraviolet rays, and long-distance travel, and shuttle between mountains, salt lakes, and grasslands. They are the mobile promotional cards of Qinghai's cultural and tourism, and an indispensable important force in the construction of Qinghai's international ecological tourism destination.

This activity is guided by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Qinghai Province and hosted by the Qinghai Tour Guide Association. The Qinghai Travel Agents Association and Xining Tourism Association also co-organized it. Tachak Salt Lake Sky Mirror Scenic Area served as the main venue for this launch ceremony, fully ensuring the smooth implementation of the activity and paying tribute to the tour guides working on the frontlines of the plateau with concrete actions.

Members of the Party Committee and Deputy Director Wang Jinxian of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Qinghai Province and relevant department leaders, relevant responsible persons of the Qinghai Tour Guide Association and Travel Agents Association, representatives of Tachak Salt Lake Sky Mirror Scenic Area, representatives of various travel agencies and cultural tourism enterprises attended this launch ceremony.

In his speech, Deputy Director Wang Jinxian highly praised the outstanding contributions of the province's 4,000 tour guides to the development of Qinghai's culture and tourism. He said, "Cooling in Summer, Caring for Tour Guides" is a heartwarming industry brand created by Qinghai Province for four consecutive years. It truly solves the problem of preventing heatstroke for front-line tour guides during summer practice and continuously enhances the professional sense of belonging of the tour guide group. At the same time, he expressed hopes for tour guides, industry associations, and tourism-related enterprises, calling for a favorable industry atmosphere of respecting and caring for tour guides, and officially announced the launch of the 2026 "Cooling in Summer, Caring for Tour Guides" public welfare visitation activity.

At the ceremony, leaders and representatives of caring enterprises presented specially prepared coolness care packages to the representatives of front-line tour guides. Sun protection clothes, ice袖s， umbrellas， tour guide poles， name tags， and other practical items were delivered to the tour guides， bringing a touch of summer care to them. The tour guides who received the packages expressed that they truly felt the warmth from the competent authorities， industry associations， and cultural tourism enterprises， and would do a better job in guiding services and telling the stories of Qinghai in the future.

Since 2023， the Tachak Salt Lake Cultural Tourism Company has participated in this public welfare activity for three consecutive years. This year， Tachak Salt Lake Scenic Area has been the main venue for two consecutive years， investing special funds to ensure the smooth implementation of this launch ceremony. It continues to build a bridge of communication between the scenic area and the tour guide group with concrete actions， promoting industry harmony and win-win results， and receiving wide recognition from the competent authorities and industry colleagues.

This public welfare visitation activity period is from August 11th to September 30th. It will also enter several core scenic areas across the province for special visits.
