On July 1st, 2026, Wang Chengjun, the director of the Revolutionary History Museum of the Northwest Bureau, Yan Juan, Qu Yong, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of Sichuan Transportation Vocational University (Chengdu-Tibet Highway Museum), and a delegation consisting of them visited and exchanged views at the Salt Museum of Tachak Salt Lake.

The delegation visited the Salt Museum on-site to gain a comprehensive understanding of the geological evolution process of the salt lake, the history of salt mining and cultural inheritance. They focused on exchanging operational experiences regarding the integration of cultural tourism, innovative exhibition forms, and the creation of study tour brands in the three museums. They also learned about the integration path of "salt production + tourism" in the scenic area, including the specific practices of creating industrial tourism sites based on production scenarios and connecting scientific popularization and sightseeing activities. They also engaged in on-site discussions and exchanges regarding museum operation, the activation and utilization of cultural and historical resources, and immersive exhibitions.

The inspection team highly affirmed the pragmatic exploration of the Salt Museum, which leverages the local salt lake resources and meets the needs of the public. They stated that they will fully absorb and draw on the experience of this exchange and learning, combine their own cultural resource advantages, further optimize the exhibition and display system of the venue, enrich the educational and research activities, and promote the mutual promotion and integrated development of cultural and museum resources and the cultural tourism industry.
