On May 30th, a youth study tour group from the United States visited the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area and held a study tour exchange activity. The study tour group successively visited the Chaka Salt Lake Museum, the core tourist area, and the salt sculpture landscape cluster, comprehensively learning about the innovative measures and development achievements of the scenic area in areas such as ecological protection in the plateau, management of salt lake resources, inheritance of folk culture, and integration of cultural tourism industries.

The members of the study tour group strolled along the "Sky Mirror", immersing themselves in the magnificent scenery of the plateau salt lake, gaining a deep understanding of the traditional and modern salt production processes, and experiencing the local distinctive folk culture firsthand. Through on-site exploration and interactive communication, everyone truly felt that the scenic area, relying on its ecological endowment and strictly adhering to ecological bottom lines, has embarked on a high-quality development path of green development and cultural tourism symbiosis.

Chaka Salt Lake is renowned as the "Mirror of the Sky" in China and is a core brand for Qinghai to build an international ecological tourism destination. The scenic area has always adhered to the principle of ecological priority and has integrated the concept of ecological civilization throughout the planning, construction, and operation processes. It has continuously promoted ecological restoration, vegetation greening, wastewater recycling, and protection of ecologically fragile areas, aiming to create a model of plateau ecological demonstration that features harmony between humans and nature. At the same time, the scenic area deeply explores the thousand-year salt culture heritage and builds a comprehensive tourism product system integrating industrial tourism, ecological experience, and educational research. It has become an important window for showcasing the ecological beauty, cultural charm, and development momentum of Qinghai.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the friendly provincial-state relationship between Qinghai Province of China and Utah of the United States. This study tour and exchange activity not only enabled overseas teenagers to closely experience the unique charm of China's plateau salt lakes, but also provided the scenic area with an international showcase platform. It fully demonstrated the fruitful achievements in ecological protection of the plateau, the inheritance of salt culture, and the integration of tourism and culture, effectively enhancing the international influence of the scenic area and becoming a vivid practice for deepening people-to-people cultural exchanges between China and the United States and enhancing friendship among teenagers.

In the future, the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area will continue to base its development on ecological protection, center on cultural inheritance, and connect through international exchanges. It will continuously create high-quality study tours and international cultural exchange platforms, deepen friendly exchanges between Chinese and foreign teenagers, and contribute more to the construction of Qinghai as an international eco-tourism destination and the promotion of friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries.
